Rhyming Chain

The children have been wanting more lessons in the language area. Here I share with you The Rhyming Chain. The task is rhythm and rhyming. First you name the pictures with the child, then show them how to link the cards together. The control of error is the number written on the back is the same for all the cards that make up the chain.

I think this chain activity would work well with word families too. What have you been doing lately with your children to keep them interested in learning to read?
