Montessori Monday

We had a shorter week, but still it was a busy one! Everyone was in peaceful spirits as we did plenty of activities celebrating Dr. Kings' life. Wet pouring using two cups.
Collaging Kids Around The World.
Independently painting.
Sequencing the sizes of the Pink Tower, and matching them to the picture.
Working with the Buckle Dressing Frame.
Sorting pictures that begin with sounds m,l,k.
Begining sewing.
Making pattern with symbols associated with Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

  1. I know they're only pictures, a snapshot of a moment, but I'm always impressed by how focused and intent children seem when doing a work. Looks like a nice week.

  2. I like the collage activity. Did it come in a kit or did you cut out all the pieces yourself?

  3. What great MLK activities! I could not think of anything to do this year, but have some ideas in mind for next year now. If you are interested in sharing these at my tray link party, I would love to see you there.
