Daily Report: On Time!!

 Today everyone was on time. It may sound like not a big deal, but it hasn't been easy to begin the work period with all attendance with all the different schedules. Today we did it! What a wonderful feeling!!

                                                                 Zoology puzzles.                                                                
 Sequencing the rectangle drawer from the Geometric Cabinet.
 Using a drawer from the Botany Cabinet to trace leaf shapes.
 Fast/Slow language activity. The napkin is a folding activity that I used for the mat. A secret way I added in a folding lesson. Before this no one ever picked the napkin folding activity.

                                     Pink Tower/Brown Stairs creations.
                                                  Metal Inset work.
                                                       Sign Language basket work.
                                                                   Color box # 3.

    Brainy Academy Tutoring and Enrichment Center has one of the best Montessori classes in the borough.

    All of our classes are kept small, no more than 8 children to two teachers. Our state-of-the-art classroom is fully stocked with educational, Montessori materials.

    The Montessori program is great for young children, ages 3-6, because it develops their logic, cognition, motor, math, and reading skills. Children in Montessori classes pick educational toys to play with. The children do not feel like they are learning, they see it as playing. The Montessori program is seen as the best way to educate young minds right now. Children who have been in Montessori classes are shown to do better in school than their peers.

    Great activities ... and I love the way you added napkin folding to your fast/slow activity! Napkin folding does tend to get ignored otherwise, doesn't it?!
