On Wednesday the preschoolers went to the Pumpkin Patch. I also had some great help Lil's and Jessica's mom came along and my mother did too. It was a great experience for the children it was their first time ever visiting a Pumpkin Patch.
When we arrived it was snack time. The children had a doughnut and some real good cider in a special apple cup.
After snack it was time for a wagon ride to the Pumpkin Patch.
When we got to the Pumpkin Patch they were very excited to see all the pumpkins. You could tell their hearts were smiling when they were told they could pick out their own pumpkin to take home with them.
We had packed our lunches so we wouldn't have any reason to rush this moment. The kids were well mannered and I will have to say I was very proud of their behavior. Packing their own lunches was a special treat for them as well. I provide the food everyday, it was interesting to see what each child choose to pack in their lunch.
I think this is a nice start for our pumpkin studies!
