Where Did Last Week Go? Montessori Monday

O.K last week was a blast! Except it went by so fast for me. I had time to do some presentations, read quite a few books. All of the kids kept asking me to read more stories to them. I think they are liking our book selections and the many voices I use. I love reading aloud, and telling stories straight from the heart. Here  are some pics of the children last week.

Seriously! Everything has been pretty much the same. The kiddos have been enjoying doing the same works over and over. Last week was very sensorial, and may I add the children worked for three hours straight four days last week. I was able to actually observe a bit :)
Here are some works I will be putting on the shelves this week.

Halloween cards I made into 2,4,and 6 piece puzzles. I copied the card and glued the picture to the front of the envelope. The puzzle pieces are inside the envelope.

Making a Pumpkin Seed Necklace with needle and thread.

Spooning Candy Corn. It is decorative but it looks real, I hope no one tries to eat this.

         Transferring beads with fingers.

  6. I'm new to your blog. Do you operate a Montessori preschool from your home, or are you at a school?

  7. Hi Asia! I do operate a preschool in my home. We do lots of Montessori activities here. I refrain from calling our preschool a Montessori Preschool because I am not a trained Monessori Guide. I give those who have gone through the actual training and certification a lot of respect. I am in the process of saving money to become a trained Montessori Guide. Thank you for visiting us!
