Montessori Monday/ Toddler Tuesday

  The work that the children chose last week was very impressive. All children challenged themselves a little more, and new presentations were given daily.  The phrase used by all children was "Can I have a lesson" ? We have a beautiful beat we are moving too. This post includes toddlers, and the three and up crew.

Handling a book. Using scissors. Tonging fruit. Working on hand-eye coordination with dot markers

Language

           Learning letter formation.Working with "c" sound cards from sound bin. Lacing "C" from the sound bin. The moveable alphabet.

Painting the letter "C" with a car.

Botany

Working with botany cabinet drawer. Labeling a peanut plant. Planting a peanut plant. Watering seeds to grow a lily pad.

                                                                            

                                       Things are going better than expected for this time of year, when the beautiful weather is calling for more outside time. The children have continued to want to work hard.  Some days I have stopped our work periods earlier so we can enjoy some nice walks.
